What is Breathwork?

Breathwork is a technique that uses exercises and stretches to bring awareness to your breathing. As a Breathe™ Certified Coach, I will help you correct poor breathing patterns so that you can strengthen your diaphragm, feel better physically, emotionally and perform better.

My certification was provided by Dr. Belisa Vranich. It was designed to teach about the anatomy and psychology of the breath, working with people to resolve breathing dysfunctions and improve overall health.

Additionally, it teaches a very particular breathing pattern that can be used as an active meditation technique whose purpose is to let go of tension and release emotions.

Most people underuse their diaphragms due to long periods of sitting, emotionall and physical problems and a number of other reasons.

Breathwork has many benefits that range from physical, mental, and emotional healing.

We will explore together your goals, and you will learn why your poor breathing habits are affecting your health. You'll learn the best exercises to correct poor breathing habits and breathing techniques to help you deal with the stresses of everyday life. The exercises that you learn will work out the most important muscle of all: the diaphragm.
